Abstract

Abstract : Factors that cause learning disorders that lead to the slow learner type have characteristics in terms of the factors that cause, among others: limited cognitive capacity, memory or low memory, impaired and less concentration the attention span of slow learning children is relatively short and low concentration power. Based on the context of the study, the focus of the study is : what are the factors that cause learning disorders-slow learner Grade I students in MI KH.A Thohir Pulungdowo-Tumpang; the purpose of this study is to determine what are the factors that cause learning disorders – slow learner Grade I students in MI KH.A Thohir Pulungdowo – Tumpang. This study the approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach by using the type of observational research to describe the results of research in writing based on the results of interviews, or from something observed by researchers while in the field as well as centralized interviews which to develop existing theories and researchers can also produce a new theory from the results. The results of this study have presented data on the causes of learning disorders - slow learner that leads to low cognitive factors along with a serious impact on the intellectual abilities of children with learning disorders that lead to slow learner because slow learner children have low concentration, lack of persistence in abstract thinking and on learning outcomes and negative labels given will impact the loss of self-confidence and low self-esteem.
