Abstract

Abstrack : Education is carried out as an effort to improve human dignity and dignity through family, school, and society. In the implementation of learning that takes place in schools, in general, there are still many problems, one of which is that the learning process is only centered on the teacher (teacher center). This study aims to describe the planning and implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning using the Mind Mapping method for sixth grade students of SDN Tunggulwulung 3 Malang City. And then to describe the results of Islamic Religious Education learning using the Mind Mapping method for sixth grade students of SDN Tunggulwulung 3 Malang City. This study uses a qualitative research approach, a case study type of research. Data collection in this study uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses an interactive model (Miles, Huberman, and Saldana) which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Check the validity of the data by extending participation, persistence/consistency of observation, and triangulation. The results of the study show that: The use of the Mind Mapping method goes through three stages: 1) Planning which includes the creation of teaching modules in accordance with the material "Let's Infaq and Give Alms", the preparation of learning outcome assessment instruments, and the KKM criteria sheet, preparing instruments for observing student activity, preparing tools and materials in the context of the implementation of the Mind Mapping method; 2) Implementation, according to the teaching module, the teacher explained the PAI material "Let's Infaq and Give Alms", students made Mind Mapping in groups, group presentations and questions and answers, integrating religious values; 3) The results of the use of the Mind Mapping method, Mind Mapping students are creative and interesting, students understand the PAI material taught, the daily Summative Assessment (SH) score of grade VI students is 99% above KKM.
