Author Guidelines

  1. Submission of a manuscript indicates that the paper has not been published in any other journal.
  2. All papers will be acknowledged and refereed.
  3. For reviewing purposes, the papers have to be prepared in the following manner :
    1. The paper should be written in Indonesian or English or Arabic.
    2. The paper is in doc format.
    3. Single spacing is required.
    4. The number of the pages is 10 to 20 A4 paper.
    5. The margin is 3 cm of mirror margins to the left, right, top and bottom of the paper.
    6. The font size for text is 12 point EB Garamond, except for the title, which is 14 point  EB Garamond, and the abstract, which is 11 point EB Garamond.
    7. The pages are single columns.
    8. The names and the e-mail addresses of the authors as well as the authors affiliations and their addresses should be written under the title.
    9. The abstract should be written in Indonesian and English, but not more than 250 words.  The keywords follow the abstract (3-5 words).
    10. The paper should contain the common sections used for computer science paper, like (for more detailed information please consult the author guideline) :

a) Introduction, which includes issues and problem to be solved, study of related and relevant previous publications

b) Method, which includes analysis, design and implementation

c) Results and Discussion, which includes experimental or simulation results and critical analysis of the experimental results

d) Conclusions, which includes the main findings

e) Acknowledgements, this section is optional. If exist, should be addressed to parties supporting the research such as institutions funding the research

f) References, should be written using Reference Manager (Mendeley)

The composition of the references used should consist of 80% of primary references (journals, proceedings) and a maximum of 20% of secondary references (text book, website) published in the last 5 years and each article should has at least ten references. All the served data or quotes in the article taken from the other author articles should attach the reference sources, reference is written by 7th APA Style (American Psychological Association). Each reference cited is written using the number placed at the early or end of a sentence. Consistent use of APA Style (American Psychological Association) is required in the writing of reference. References are arranged in order of appearance in the text. It is advisable to use software application to manage references and bibliography (Mendeley)

  1. The editors have the rights to edit the paper without altering the main idea of the paper.
  2. There is no page charge.
  3. The manuscript should be submitted online.

  6. The publication fee will be charged to the first authors.

Guideline for Online Submission
Author should first register as Author through the following address: https://e-journal.staima-alhikam.ac.id/talimuna/user/registerThe author should fulfill the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, Author clicks on Register button to proceed the registration. Therefore, Author is brought to online author submission interface where Author should click on New Submission. In the Start a New Submission section, click on ™Click Here™: to go to step one of the five-step submission process. The following are five steps in online submission process:

Step 1 - Make a Submission: The author must check-mark on the submission checklists. An author should type or copy-paste the cover letter to Comments for the Editor.

Step 2 - “Submission Details": Please provide the following details to help us manage your submission in our system (Title and Abstract).

Step 3 - “Upload Files": Provide any files our editorial team may need to evaluate your submission. In addition to the main work, you may wish to submit data sets, conflict of interest statements, or other supplementary files if these will be helpful for our editors. Manuscript (doc, docx) must be uploaded in the "Add File", then choose "What kind of file is this?".

Step 4 - “Contibutors": Add details for all of the contributors to this submission. Contributors added here will be sent an email confirmation of the submission, as well as a copy of all editorial decisions recorded against this submission. If a contributor can not be contacted by email, because they must remain anonymous or do not have an email account, please do not enter a fake email address. You can add information about this contributor in a message to the editor at a later step in the submission process.

Step 5 - “For Editors": Add any information that you think our editorial staff should know when evaluating your submission.

Step 6 - “Review": Review the information you have entered before you complete your submission. You can change any of the details displayed here by clicking the edit button at the top of each section. Once you complete your submission, a member of our editorial team will be assigned to review it. Please ensure the details you have entered here are as accurate as possible. Please confirm the Copyright before you submit.

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process. Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
