Abstract

Research on the development of modules based on the problem solving learning model theme 2 energy sources for grade 4 SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Agung Timur was based on the lack of teaching materials used in teaching and learning activites in class. The purpose of this development research is to produce a product in the form of a problem solving model-based learning module that has valid, pratical, and effective criteria so that it can be used in learning activities in grade 4 SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Agung Timur.

This type of research uses the ADDIE research model which occurs from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evalution. In this study the data collection used included interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Test the validaty of the data by using a questionnaire for design validation, language validation, material validation, and practicality test by using a questionnaire to see student responses to the teaching materials developed, as well as effectiveness test using pre test and post test.

The results of this development research show that the class 4 problem solving learning model-based module at SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Agung Timur is declared to be used in teaching and learning activites in the classroom because in the third validation test the validators include validation of design expert reaching a score of 76, language experts reaching a score of 51, material experts reaching a score of 76. A score of 62. Meanwhile, the results of 3 student respondents, namely 1.Amora Citra Kirana, were obtained with a total score of 39 and seen from the interval and practicakity category including 35-42, it could be categorized as pratical 2. Deru Yuda Pratama is obtained with a total score of 43 and judging from the interval and practicality category including at 43-50 it can be categorized as a very practical ,3.Paiz Rizki Ramadhan total score is 42 and seen from the interval and the practicality category is included at 35-42 it can be categorized as pratical it could be categorized as practicality including 35-42 so it could be categorized as practical. The results of effectiveness through the pre-test of 17 students with an average score of 63 and through the post-test of 17 students with an average score of 81,76, These results indicate that the problem solving learning model-based module for class 4 SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Agung Timur is feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process in the classroom.
