Abstract
This study examines the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in learning Jurisprudence at MIN Bima City. PBL is known to be effective in improving concept understanding and critical thinking skills. This research is different from previous studies which mostly discuss PBL in the context of general education, while the focus of this research is learning Jurisprudence at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. The method used in this research is qualitative. While data collection techniques through classroom observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL method in learning Jurisprudence at MIN Bima City was in the form of project-making tasks, such as making ablution and prayer guides. PBL proved to be effective as shown by a number of indicators: Student Involvement, Student Enthusiasm, Understanding of Jurisprudence Concepts, Student Learning Experience and Teacher's Role as Facilitator. While the challenges of applying the PBL method include limited facilities, teacher readiness and time management. The implication of this research is the need for training for teachers in designing and adapting the PBL method, so that it is more effective in improving the quality of Jurisprudence learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah.
Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi metode Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Fikih di MIN Kota Bima. PBL dikenal efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak membahas PBL dalam konteks pendidikan umum, sedangkan fokus penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Fikih di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode PBL dalam pembelajaran Fikih di MIN Kota Bima berupa tugas pembuatan proyek, seperti Membuat Panduan Wudhu dan Shalat. PBL terbukti efektif yang ditunjukkan oleh sejumlah indikator: Keterlibatan Siswa, Antusiasme Siswa, Pemahaman Konsep Fikih, Pengalaman Belajar Siswa dan Peran Guru sebagai Fasilitator. Sedangkan tantangan penerapan metode PBL antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas, kesiapan guru dan manajemen waktu. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya pelatihan bagi guru dalam merancang dan mengadaptasi metode PBL, agar lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Fikih di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
