Abstract

Along with the development of Education Science and Technology as well as curriculum changes that occur in Indonesia. Various learning models and learning media are increasingly diverse, this does not escape the creativity of the educators in creating an interesting learning environment that is liked by students. The use of interesting learning media in accordance with the material being taught will be able to foster learning motivation and improve student learning outcomes. one of them is to use animated films which are certainly interesting for children. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the use of learning media in the form of animated films to improve students' skills in deciphering moral messages in stories in class III A MI Al-Fattah Malang City students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. While the subjects of this study were students of class III A MI Al-Fattah Malang City with a total of 26 students, with 14 male students and 12 female students. In this study, using observation, interviews and documentation as a technique for data collection. And using data reduction, presentation of new data verification for research data analysis. The results of this study indicate that animated film media is able to increase students' creativity in parsing moral messages in stories and obtain satisfactory results, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of students and the creativity that appears during learning activities.
